What is Ligamento periodontal?
Connective tissue fibers that connect the tooth root to the alveolar bone.
The periodontal ligament (PDL) is a specialized connective tissue that attaches teeth to the surrounding alveolar bone. It acts as a shock absorber during chewing, provides sensory feedback, and plays a crucial role in tooth movement during orthodontic treatment.
